$45 for a Caesar Salad on Seven Mile Beach - Are You Serious?
Seven Mile Beach
Description
Look, I get it - Seven Mile Beach is premium location. But $45 CI for a Caesar salad? The portion was tiny, the lettuce was wilted, and the croutons tasted like they came out of a box from 2019. Oh and the best part - the 18% service charge was already included in the bill. But they still put a tip line on the receipt. So you feel guilty not tipping ON TOP of the service charge they already took. The waiter spent maybe 90 seconds total at our table the entire meal. For that kind of money I expect fresh ingredients, a decent portion, and at least the illusion that they care about the customer. Tourist trap pricing at its finest. If you are a local, you know better. If you are visiting - skip the beachfront restaurants and eat where the locals eat. Your wallet will thank you.
